Crystal Cheat Sheet- Colour Theory and Crystal Usage

What if I told you that there was a simple way to determine which crystals may be useful for certain circumstances.
The answer lies in colour theory & the chakras
Chakras are the main energy centres of the body and each chakra is associated with particular colours and attributes. Once you learn the general colours and associations, it can help you to determine which crystals can be used for each purpose. For example, if you are working to enhance your creativity, you might choose to wear an orange bracelet as orange is associated with the sacral chakra and creativity.
A quick guide to the crystal and their associations is listed below.

As with all things, there are some exceptions to this general rule. As you can see above, pink crystals are associated with the heart chakra, even though the heart chakra colour is normally green. Also, green crystals can sometimes be associated with wealth, which is not normally a function related to the heart chakra. This is where general colour theory comes into the mix. Therefore if you know a little bit about colour theory (which is the same colour associations as in candle magick) and the chakras, you are well on your way to figuring out which crystals you can use to affect change in your life.
Please note, this list is certainly not a definitive list of crystals and their associations. There have been numerous books written on this subject- some of which we sell here. This is just my own way of remembering which crystals are associated with certain properties. If you would like to learn more, check out the books that have been published and above all, use your own intuition. Not everyone will feel the same affinity towards certain colours/crystals.
