In order to use fragrance oils and essential oils in your magical practice, it is beneficial to know their individual properties.
Generally speaking, citrus oils increase energy; wood oils such as cedarwood and sandalwood are beneficial for increasing spirituality and meditation; Spicy & sweet oils such as cinnamon and cardamom are used for sex; delicate flowers such as rose and jasmine are used for love and peace. If you are not sure what the correspondences are of a particular oil that you are using, smell it and see how it makes you feel. Afterall, the major part of your magic is your intention, the essential oils and fragrances are an added bonus that will simply help to strengthen your magic.
