This gorgeous handcrafted hanging censer (thurible) is an ideal accompaniment to your magickal, spiritual and meditation practices.

Made of brass, this censer is suspended on chains so that it can be hung to allow the magickal smoke to waft through your sacred space.

Censers allow you to create and use your own magickal herbal incenses. Whether you want to burn your home grown rosemary or you want to create magickal blends to ward off evil or promote happiness and love, a censer is the perfect vessel to hold your burnt offerings.

Not limited to spiritual, religious  or magickal rituals, this brass censer also serves as a striking decorative accent. Place it on a shelf, an altar, or any focal point in your home, and let its mesmerizing presence become a centerpiece that inspires tranquility and introspection.

How to Use

  • Set a charcoal tablet in your thurible on a bed of sand, dirt or white ash (to help absorb the heat) and light the tablet. You can also pick the charcoal tablets up with charcoal tongs and set it alight prior to placing it in your container if that is preferred.
  • Slowly fan or blow on the tablet.
  • Only after the charcoal is aglow and stops crackling, put the herb/ resin incense on the top.
  • Using a spoon or tweezers, drop the resin incense onto the tablet.
  • Set aside enough time so that you can enjoy the ritual of incense burning.
