"Resin is the life-blood of the tree, healing its wounds and inflictions and protecting it against infection. In short, resin repairs, protects and heals.

Goloka Frankincense Myrrh resin when burned emits a holy smoke and beautiful fragrance that is known to clear negative energies, connect us with our higher consciousness and the spiritual realms, and surround us with high vibrations.

A long history of use in ceremonial practices all around the world from some of the most renowned civilisations, from ancient Egyptians to the Native Americans. It even made its way into the scriptures of the Bible as one of the sacred gifts given by Kings.

According to the Biblical text of Mathew 2:11, gold, frankincense, and myrrh were among the gifts to Jesus. Gold representing his kingship, frankincense a symbol of is priestly role, and myrrh a prefiguring of his embalming."

How to Use

  • Set a charcoal tablet in a heatproof container such as a cauldron on a bed of sand or dirt (to help absorb the heat) and light the tablet. You can also pick the charcoal tablets up with charcoal tongs and set it alight prior to placing it in your container if that is preferred.
  • Slowly fan or blow on the tablet.
  • Only after the charcoal is aglow and stops crackling, put the resin incense on the top.
  • Using a spoon or tweezers, drop the resin incense onto the tablet.
