Hand Painted Wooden Ornament
"Raven"
Another Australian bird that features great intelligence, the Raven, like the Magpie, remembers faces of those who have been unkind to them, communicating this knowledge to other Ravens. They have also been known to use tools to obtain food and aid in defending their territories.
Often seen hopping around on roads in NSW scavenging food, the Raven inspired this original hand painted wood slice!
This wooden ornament was hand painted onto a wood slice from an old gum tree, as such it may have cut marks still in the bark. It has been sanded to allow it to stand on it's own, or you could put it on a stand if it suits your décor better!
The Raven is truly a remarkable bird and It's portrait would make a lovely addition to your home décor or a beautiful gift to a friend.
Wooden Ornament Features
This hand painted wood slice ornament has been gloss varnished for protection, shine and ease of cleaning.
In keeping with our philosophy of reincarnation and recycling, this wooden ornament has been made from salvaged tree branches so you can rest assured that this item does not contribute to more deforestation.
